Welcome to the 22nd Edition of the Oracle EMEA Int'l Football Tournament.

This tournament started back in 1999 when during a consulting meeting some colleagues had the idea to organise a small football tournament. The inaugural tournament was staged in Mondsee (next to Salzburg and quite central of Vienna, Milan, Zurich and Munich, due to the initial participant countries of Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy).

Due to the success of the first tournament, the idea to continue and create an Annual EMEA Football Tournament was born. The main idea of the tournament is to meet and network with colleagues in an informal environment, play football, socialise, and have fun. This has turned into a large networking event with colleagues looking forward to meeting their friends and opponents once a year.

After initially starting with 4 male teams in '99, Lyon '19 consisted of ladies 7's, male 7's and male 11's teams from 18 countries. Lyon '19 was a well received event, and with England 2020 expected to be attended by more colleagues from even more countries, the organising team look forward to welcoming you to the Capital of the North, Manchester.
